Demetri Martin is by far my favorite person to listen to on podcasts. I've heard him on Nerdist, PRI's Sound of Young America, and now here on Pete Holmes' new show.
A joy-inducing combination of hilarity and thoughtful poignance, Martin talks with his good friend Holmes about many topics such as:
- Religion and the metaphors in Flatland
- Relationships (Martin and Holmes were both divorced, but Martin also talks about his current relationship)
- Writing comedy
- The ups and downs of having a TV show centered on yourself
Because interviewer and interviewee are friends, the discussion is a little more interesting than the average podcast's, and we're all the luckier for it.
