Interview Jon Stewart at the USO

I love Jon Stewart, or as I like to affectionately call him, JStew. And this interview only makes me love him more. Check it out here; you're in for a great read.

Highlights include:
Actually, it's too difficult and unfair of me to just pull one quote out of the air for you. It disrupts the stream of JStew goodness that you get from the article. The whole is much greater than the sum of the parts here, and so I will leave you to enjoy the whole.

Thanks to the Night Owl for sending this to me.

The Daily Show: Guest Jimmy Fallon

Thanks to the Night Owl for sending this to me. It seems like I'm having a little Jimmy Fallon extravaganza on my blog recently.

Check out Fallon's guest spot on the Daily Show. As the Night Owl writes, "YEAAAHH they LOOOVE each other :))" I couldn't agree more.

In this clip, Fallon talks about his hit book, Thank You Notes (I think it was a smart move to make it paperback and more affordable in its first issue), and his 'Whip My Hair' duet with Bruce Springsteen. If you want to hear Fallon speak about what it was like to work on this song, check out the Nerdist podcast. If you have iTunes, you can listen to the 'making of' starting at 45:00 (It starts out slow because they were having technical difficulties. It lasts until about 55:00.)

Al Madrigal: On the Daily Show

If you remember, I posted a video of Al Madrigal a little whiles back. Turns out, he's now an official correspondent on The Daily Show!

Thanks to the Night Owl for pointing this out to me!

Happy Mother's Day!

Instead of being deep (or really, as 'deep' as I can get) about the power of a mother's love, I offer you some laughs.

Here's someone's piece called 'Respectful Yo Mama Jokes.'

Also, check out the first 1 minute of this clip (sorry, I couldn't figure out how to shorten it in html) for some Mother's day-inspired indignation from the always funny Jon Stewart from 2007.
